Beach Alykes

The Beach Alykes is located on the back side of the island, right across Ouranoupoli. It is one of the biggest and most beautiful beaches of Ammouliani. With fine white sand and crystal clear waters it mesmerizes every visitor.

 

It’s an organized beach with umbrellas, sunbeds, food trucks and cafes. There is also a camping site.

Beach Megali Amos

The beach Megali Amos is located around 2km from the center of Ammouliani. It’s considered one of the best of the island, due to it’s fine sand and shallow waters. An ideal beach for families and one who is almost never full of people. Near the beach there are a few restaurants and small hotels.

 

It’s an organized beach with umbrellas, sunbeds, food trucks and cafes.

Beach Karagatsia

The beach Karagatsia is located around 3km from the port of Ammouliani. It’s a small beach, a little bay with sand in and out of the sea. The bottom of the sea at this beach is very unique and is excellent for scuba diving and snorkeling.

 

Ideal for snorkeling. Not an organized beach but there is a food truck with sandwiches and coffee.

Drenia Islands

Drenia Islands also known as Gaidouronisia, is a group of six small islands next to the island of Ammouliani and very close to Ouranoupoli. They are inhabited but in summer there is a tavern and beach bar working in the biggest of the islands.

 

White sand and turquoise waters, it’s a must visit.

Beach Glastri

Beach Glastri is located near the center of Ammouliani and is facing Ouranoupolis. You can visit the beach by boat, but also if with a car or scooter.

 

There are taverns around the beach.
